If you have a trading system that consistently makes money, the value of the system is relative to the amount of capital invested. If a system consistently generates 30% per year and the individual has $100k to invest, it is probably worth $10k per year to him (if he wants a 20% return). If he invests $500k the value is something like $50k.

Since it is impossible to value trading systems that consistently make money, Nirvana will not sell "Ultimate Trading Machines" to the general public. Nirvana Club members, however, will have access to them. This is part of the covenant in the Nirvana Club Agreement that all members and the Company sign. Membership in the Club is perhaps the best chance any individual has of acquiring this kind of system.

Has Nirvana reached its Ultimate Trading Machine goal? While the "M-1" profile is showing high mechanical profitability, the system is still in its early stages of development. We can increase the Tradability Index filter to generate APRs of 200% and more (see graph), but we only see about 10 trades on the S&P 100 stocks over four years of data. Our goal now is to generate the same profitability, but in a way that yields an average of 3-6 trades per stock per year. That brings me to our current research, which will be of interest and significance to all OmniTrader users.

OmniTrader 2004 is Now Under Development.
We are currently working with our Nirvana Club members on the next version of OmniTrader. We are tremendously excited about it, because the new version will allow us to combine trading strategies like "M-1" with our other Artificial Intelligence methods to create even more profitable systems. OmniTrader 2004 will be released this Fall, and I expect significant Nirvana Club news to follow as we apply the new version in our continued trading system development. This is an ideal time to join the Club, before the cost of membership increases as a result of these advances.
