Group Consensus Signals!
GroupTrader displays the correlation of each symbol to its Industry Group in the Correlation column. The stocks at the top of the list are those that tend to move up or down with the Group chart. When a majority of these correlated stocks fire a Signal, GroupTrader automatically “votes” them to generate a Consensus Signal for the Group, called “GSig”. This provides the earliest, most confirmed Signal possible for trading an Industry Group – with the least risk.

GroupTrader provides you with a view of any number of charts immediately with the Group Chart Button. This powerful feature allows you to quickly page through the Group’s components to find the best trading opportunities.

This Strategy identifies sharp reversals in the stocks that make up a Group to identify the earliest possible reversals. Then, Group Consensus Voting is applied to ensure that a majority of the stocks in the Group are exhibiting the same behavior. This technique finds high-energy trading opportunities.
2. GT Medium Term
This Strategy uses a Volatility Breakout System. While Breakout Systems are great at finding explosive moves by themselves, they are susceptible to firing false Signals. However, by using the power of Group Consensus Signals, the Strategy only fires a Signal when there is confirmation from additional stocks in the Group. This enables the Strategy to identify both reversal and strong trend continuation moves.
3. GT Long Term
The GT Long Term Strategy uses Group Consensus Voting, just like GT Short Term and GT Medium Term. However, instead of using a Reversal or Breakout System, a Divergence System is used on each stock. This System looks for situations where a stock is “taking off” relative to the index. When a high percentage of stocks that make up a Group generate these Signals, a Group Consensus Signal is generated.
