E. Bauman - Futures Trader

Mr. Bauman works a full-time job and has little time to devote to trading. He appreciates OmniTrader's automatic features and ease of use. As he says, "Time is money, and my time is valuable."

What do you trade?

Commodity futures and options on futures for now. When I found commodity futures and options trading, I fell in love. This stuff was made for me. I decided early on that if I was going to trade with professionals, I had to have the tools of the professionals.

How does OmniTrader help you in your daily trading?

While I have my favorite commodities and contract months to trade, OmniTrader alerts me to trading opportunities in other commodities, and even other months in my favorite commodities.

How easy is OmniTrader to use?

When I received the OmniTrader demo, I was hooked immediately. Unlike other demos, the program lived up to my expectations.

Exactly how do you use the program?

I use OmniTrader for both signal generation to confirm my findings and to generate signals to alert me to possible trades on other commodities I do not have the time to follow. I look forward to future releases of OmniTrader to work on intermediate options on futures. Once my account is built up sufficiently to diversify, I also look forward to using OmniTrader on longer term trading in other markets.

What is your trading style?

I use the short term aggressive trading model as I do not have the size account to ride out the up and down moves of a futures market. However to be short term aggressive, you have only a short time to be aggressive: You miss the move, you miss the profit. Again, time is money.

How well have you done with the program?

I think instead of how I have done using OmniTrader, the question should be how much more I could have done if I paid attention to strong advisor signals contrary to market sentiment. Some of the best moves came when OmniTrader signaled "go" and the experts said "no". One instance earlier this year was in a deferred month in one of my favorite commodities. It would have been nice to pocket an additional $2,000 plus in four days. My kind of hit and run trading.....but in this case it was "you snooze, you lose."

Would you recommend this program to a friend? Why?

While I'm the first to complain about a bad product, I also go out of my way to commend a great product. This presents a paradox. While I'd love to and do recommend it, just how many do I recommend it to and still look like a genius in my trading picks?
