Q: I can't log into the SignalWatch/OT200# Updater/OT Forum website. What could be causing this?

1. Check to make sure that the browser you are using is Microsoft Internet Explorer. If not go ahead & open I.E. from your Start Menu/Programs list or from your Desktop.

2. Please note that your ID and password are case sensitive. Make sure that your caps lock button on your keyboard is turned off.

3. If you have a firewall, try disabling it & see if that makes a difference. If not, there is likely some Windows or browser security setting preventing the login. You can also try disabling any popup blocker or parental control software you may have.

*If you have Windows XP Service Pack 2, follow this on how to disable Microsoft's firewall:

a. Open your Control Panel.
b. Open Window's Security Center.
c. Click Windows Firewall.
d. Under the General tab, select Off.
e. Click Ok to save the changes.

4. Try defaulting the security settings in Internet Explorer. Click Tools/Internet Options/Security. Then highlight Internet & then the Default Level button. Do the same for Local Intranet, Trusted Sites, & Restricted Sites. Once you've defaulted all 4 of them, click Privacy. If you can, click the Default button & click ok to finish.

5. In Internet Explorer click on Tools/Internet Options/Connections/LAN Settings. Under Proxy Server, is Use a Proxy Server for your LAN enabled? If so, you can try disabling it & click ok twice & see if you can log in now. If you are sure that you absolutely need that option enabled, go back & enable it, then click Advanced. Under Exceptions enter or depending on the site you're trying to login to, & click ok.

6. In Internet Explorer click on Tools/Internet Options/General Options click the Delete Cookies button as well as the Delete Files button and put a check in the box labeled Delete All Offline Content. Click ok when finished.

7. Download Windows Updates from & click scan for updates. Install any critical updates & relevant updates Microsoft recommends for Internet Explorer.

8. Restart your computer.

9. If it is still not logging in properly, please contact Nirvana Support as it may be a registration issue.
