Or is there a different field called neuromechanomics?

Does this relate somehow to OmniVest? I'd think that OVest would qualify as pure mechanical.

It's a hybrid of neuroscience, economics and psychology that will show what drives investing behavior not only on the practical or theoretical levels but as a basic biological function.
If nothing else it will help you understand why you pick strategies with low drawdowns or why you choose the ones with the biggest. It will also help you understand how to deal with trading what you believe to be the the riskier strategies.
