User Profile OV is giving me a buy and a sell for the same ETF but with different strategies. I am using max strategies trading a symbol at one. The close signal is by the same strategy that opened the position but there is a new open order from a different strategy.
If I net it out I do nothing but then OV will be out of sync. What should be done in this situation?

That setting set to one means that you cannot have 2 open positions for the same symbol at the same time for different strategies. You had one strategy close & another open, but they were never both open at the same time.
Additionally, when this case happens & you have a buy & sell at the same time, the Trade Processor will aggregate the open & closing orders together to get a total number of shares, then submit that total to the broker, which could result in more shares bought, more shares sold, or the nothing submitted if the share size equals zero.
Since your TP is not on our servers I cannot see what happened, hopefully you got it sorted out earlier.

User Profile Thanks for the reply. I did a "mental aggregate" so did nothing. <:) I am relatively new with OV and since I am trading in an IB account am entering trades manually to stay involved and to not add another layer of buttons and levers to trade the IB account, yet.
