Thanks, Tom Helget ![]()

What happens when "In the Money" is checked? Does "Strike" refer to the next strike up or down? In the case of Put Value Up if "In the Money" is checked and Down if "In the Money" is not checked? The Expiration parameter - is that in days to expiration? And, here is the biggest mystery to me (I really don't know much about options) what in the heck is "Roll" and what are it's units of measurement - days maybe? Thanks, any assistance you can provide would be appreciated. Tom Helget

I tried a lot, but didn't find any correlation to the option chain values so far....assuming that you received an answer on your question, of course. Thanks in advance Roland van Giesen

Barry Cohen![]() Posts: 6338 Joined: 1/19/2004 ![]() | This is what I was able to find out... The indicator returns the historical close price for the option model. If “In the money” is checked (unchecked), then it’s N strikes up (down). Expiration & roll are in days. Roll is how far out you pick the contract for calculations. All parameters are the same in OptionFinder & throughout the option model. |
