User Profile Does anyone know of any reason that Strategy Wizard does not work with futures.
I'm using User Data that conforms to the Metastock format and it charts and indicators function normally. I have checked the strategies for any reference to an OS symbol and unless I missed it there are none.
I realize OT is a stockcentric program but what a fantastic platform it would be if all the things it does for stock could be used with futures. (My wish list.)

User Profile I believe to have commented earlier on forum somewhere, a Futures license need to be purchased separately from N, to run any kind of futures symbols EOD and RT on OT.
There is no relation to any kind of data feed needed.

User Profile Thanks for that but that is no longer necessary. I am running OT Pro RT and I called N about using OT EOD and they said it also runs for futures. N just no longer offers futures data.
I have been running a futures profile for quite awhile and there is no problem except in some of the areas I mentioned. I think it may be related to the fact that the multiplier is different for futures and the easy $1 per point across the board doesn't work.

User Profile For a final resolution of this, at least for me, I changed to a slightly different continuous contract construction and SW is now working. Also, all those off the wall astronomical Port Sim results have come back to earth.
I am chalking it up to OT choking a little on the foreign food of futures and will just be cautious of results in futures, and look forward to hearing the experience of others.
