I still could not figure out how to set up custom scanner using Guppy strategies. i.e. how to use guppy building blocks in the formula builder and write my own scanner rules? Also, is there a pre-built scanner that came with a Guppy 2 plugin that I may be missing? Is it somewhere in Manual where I can learn that from? Thank you advance.

I also have a "GMMA Documentation". You can creates scans with Guppy: Hit the pencil icon which will open up OmniScan. Go down to "Custom Scans". Right click - hit "New OmniScan List". A new OmniScan opens at the bottom and you can name it. Then go to the upper right and hit "Add" then pick your starting population (stocks, ETF, etc). Go to "Criteria Rules" hit "Technical" to bring up the OmniScan Formula Builder" and scroll down to GMM...- you have three choice which you can click on and add to the scan. I also have G_CBL, GAMSOsc, and GA Separation. You can set the values and add any other criteria you want in the scan...price range, volume range, etc. When finished, click on the little box next to the scan and it will run the scan. Hit Close, bottom right.

Is there a way to reference those particular inputs in a scan? I am looking at a crossover of the median level using either one (or both) of the upper and lower lines. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. |
