Hello, How would one go about creating a scan whereby the RSI(14) 1 bar ago was higher than 70 and on this current bar that reading is lower than it's prior reading and on the reverse if the RSI(14) is at 30 or lower on the prior bar but on this current bar it closes higher than it's prior bar?

Hope this makes sense to you. Thanking you all in advance, Gerry

Hi Gerry,

I'm only a novice at creating a scan but this is what I've come up with and it seems to do what you want.
I have created two different scans, one for RSI Down and one for RSI Up.

RSI Down:-

RelativeStrengthIndex(14) < RelativeStrengthIndex(14)[1] AND
RelativeStrengthIndex(14)[1] > 70

RSI Up:-

RelativeStrengthIndex(14) > RelativeStrengthIndex(14)[1] AND
RelativeStrengthIndex(14)[1] < 30
