What symbol in OmniTrader matches the normal range of what you see elsewhere for the VIX, Yahoo Finance, Big Charts, etc. The VIX closed Friday over 24. Omnitrader shows it closing around 15, and the overall graphs don't match. Both say they are charting the CBOE Volitility Index.
What do we use on OmniTrader to get the generally accepted values for the VIX?

Unfortunately there is no good substitute for VIX, at least not one that we are aware of yet. It's on our list of things to address, but it's a tough one. The real VIX is available with OmniData RT, so if you can use a Realtime profile that would work. EOD requires a different solution.

Barry,

I appreciate the reply. That clears up the mystery. I will just create a RT portfolio to look at the VIX.

Thanks
