I have OT2005 and OT2006 installed on my XP machine. I decided to uninstall OT2005 since I don't use it any more (and to make space for OT2007). I used the Add/Remove Programs program from the Control Panel and select OT2005 to be removed. During the uninstall process, I received a number of error messages concerning DLLs that failed to unregister. The error messages were in the following form:

Error 1905.Module C:\Program Files\Nirvana\OT2005\IQ_API.dll failed to unregister. HRESULT -2147220472 Contact your support personnel.

IQ_API.dll was the first of over a dozen DLLs that reported the same error.

Although OT2005 no longer appears in the Add/Remove Programs program from the Control Panel, my C:\Program Files\Nirvana\OT2005 directory still exists and contains about 450 Meg of files.

What should I do to ensure a clean uninstall of OT2005 (files, registry settings, etc.)?

Thanks for your help.

Those 1905 errors are nothing serious. They show during an uninstall if the files are already uninstalled or the files no longer exist. Now that it's gone from the Add/Remove section if you would like to remove everything from OT2005 browse to the :\Program Files\Nirvana directory & delete the entire OT2005 folder.

Thanks for the quick response, Barry. Just wanted to make sure that I didn't need to do anything else (clean up registry, unregister DLLs, etc.) before deleting the directory. More importantly, I don't want anything to mess up the OT2007 installation.
