I have tried to find a solution to this problem a couple of times before, but it has followed me through every version of OT since I joined in 2007!! - Still happens in 2013 - maybe 2014 version will solve!!!

So what is the problem - It's the Current Order Confirmations Window.
I am using OT Pro with EOD profiles. I have used more than one data provider over the last 6 years so I am pretty sure it is not related directly to my data provider but.......

Every time I open OT and open the Current Order Confirmation Window, the Open Notifications tab is packed full of entries. Many of these are for stocks I have held in the portfolio but don't any longer. The dates are all fairly random - some in the past and some apparently in the future!!

I go through and check each one and clear them all, but if I close and re-open OT, there they are again.

If we can't solve the issue, a 'select all' or 'clear all' option would at lease make the job quicker.

I am not even sure what these are trying to tell me - I always assumed they were the latest 'stop' positions as calculated by the trade plan - so if I was running on a live brokerage, they would be used to create limit orders or similar. I don't use them as they are so random. Also not sure how that would generate entries for stocks I no longer hold.

Any ideas gratefully received - here's to OT 2014!!!

This appears to be same bug I reported in the following thread. Unfortunately no fix has been issued till date.

Ok - many thanks.

I was previously instructed to repair/replace the brokerage.otd file. It seemed to clear up the problem for a few days, but as time went on it just went back to how it was.

Fingers crossed - one day!!!
