OT 2007 4A - while running my strategies OT developed multiple errors and crashed. When I restarted it I got this error window as OT came up:

"error 3001: Invalid argument occured in routine 2697 modProfile.bas .Openfile

Please make note of it..."

The error window times out at 60 secs or when you click ok. It comes up once or twice more. Then the focus list tries to load and this error window comes up:

"error 3070 the Microsoft Jet Database engine does not recognize "symbol" as a valid field, name or expression. Occured in routine 757 fnFocuslist.frm .CheckKeydown

Please make note..."

So I installed 4C over 4A but get the same problems.

HELP - OT2007 is completely unusable right now

Here is OTLog:

Hello,

Here is a common fix for this problem, however if you are getting the exact message Buffalo Bill was getting you may have lost your current profile. Please follow the instructions below and let me know how things turn out for you.

Update OmniTrader.
Start > All Programs > OmniTrader 2007 > OmniTrader Updater.

Then

Close OmniTrader.
Navigate to the C:\Program Files\Nirvana\OT2007\Results folder & delete all the contents.
These are only temporary files. Restart OT.

Hi Ryan, thanks for the reply. I've been traveling and haven't been able to reply. After I upgraded OT2007 to 4N, and then performed a database repair, that fixed the problem.

Thanks for your help!
