[blue][b]Q: How can I get Gmail & Yahoo email to work with OmniTrader, Trade Processor, & OmniPilot? A: (GMAIL)[/b] If you encounter difficulty getting emails sent to your Gmail account from Nirvana software, here are the steps to make it work. 1. Open your internet browser & log into your Gmail account <a href=https://mail.google.com>here</a>. 2. Click the "Google Apps" squares in the top right of your browser next to your name. Click on the "My Account" option -> Sign-in & Security -> then scroll towards the bottom of the next page & enable the option for "Allow less secure apps". Enable Alerts and/or Email Reports, then click "Save" when you are done. Just download the <a href=http://www.omnitrader.com/currentclients/proforum/get-attachment.asp?attachmentid=5918>GmailOmniPilotScripts.zip</a> file to your computer, & extract the files into your [b]...\Nirvana\OT201*\VBA\OmniPilot[/b] folder. Make sure to overwrite the existing files in this folder when prompted. Launch OmniPilot -> highlight the "modGmail.txt" script on the left side of OmniPilot, & type in your Gmail ID and PW into those two spots shown in the screenshot. [img=http://www.omnitrader.com/currentclients/proforum/get-attachment.asp?attachmentid=5916] Now, when you run OmniPilot it will send emails to your Gmail account from your local machine & not from our server. The port/SSL/SMTP information is already configured & the email alert functionality will work.[/blue]
