Hello,
in TASC 2014 issue JAN there was an interesting article about predictive and sucessful indicators page 17-25. There was described the John Ehlers Mesa Stochastic Indicator

Who is able to code it in OT Language and to create an according OT strategy System for OT to see how it works in a Portfolio simulation. The Easy language code is in attached file. In TASC JAN the coding was also provided for download of other well known trading platforms (MetaStock Code, NinjaTrader etc.)

Thank you in advance
wolfgang

I have replaced attachment by a better Quality file !!!. There you can read it better

Hi Wolf and All I have had a go at this as it looked do able for me. Be warned it is my first attempt at a code conversion. On the Face of it it looks like it works see the pic. Perhaps one of our more expert friends could take a look to check it out.

Hello John,
thank you for providing the OL code.
Maybe other experts can Review your coding and incoporate it in a OT strategy

There is an error in the SSF part of the code that I believe I am responsible for, due to an earlier post. In the calculation of b1, the square root of 2 is incorrect. In the cosine function, replace 1,141 with 1.414. Sorry.

Mel

Hi Mel,

Thanks for pointing to my failure to correct the square root error. I have now corrected the file above. Best Regards John B.
