I looking at using VT with integrated brokerage for trading futures realtime particularly CME currencies and CME interest rate futures.
I'm presuming that with a IB or an MBT account and a Nirvana data feed I can set up executions and trade plans directly from a VT chart using the VT trading chevrons.
Are these presumptions for trading futures in VT correct?
Also, for futures trading, which of the two integrated brokerages would be the better choice, MBT or IB? Better is not necessarily cheaper commission but better interface, better RT integration, better platform experience, better support etc..

Yes, you may trade futures with IB or MB using OT/VT. The integration with our software is about the same with both, so which is better is a matter of opinion..

Thx for the reply.
I seem to be partial to MBT. It looks to be more streamlined somehow.
In the integration of VT/OT and MBT are there any latency issues (of significance) in placing orders through OT/VT? Is the order execution through OT/VT about the same as an execution through MBT's platform software downloaded?
I'm running OT and VT pro versions. Years ago, I remember Nirvana platforms had separate pricing for OT/VT futures trading separate from OT/VT trading for stocks. It appears that this separation no longer exists as a description in the Nirvana product lineup. Is this correct?

Placing a trade through the OT/VT interface to MB is pretty seamless. I myself haven't noticed a timing difference when using MB's software.
We did drop the Futures edition a few years ago. Now it's just EOD Stocks, RealTime, & Pro editions. Futures capability is included in the RealTime & Pro editions.
