Can anyone share their experience with running OT in a VM?

For an operating system will ubuntu work? Otherwise is there a way to use Windows 10 or is it necessary to buy a license for each instance.

my trading OT is in a VM - virtualbox. Works great, no problems, love it. Easy to move the VBs to other computers, back them up, etc.

Good to know - thanks. Not sure my i7 4770 with 16gb ram can handle it. Was training a GA yesterday and at least 3 of 4 cores were above 80c most of the time and one peaked at 86. Putting more load on it running another instance of OT simultaneously may be too much?
