Subject : Settings, Strategies Saved for a Dynamic Portfolio

I wanted to make everyone aware of a "Save Settings" issue that we are working to correct right now.

Anyone creating Dynamic Portfolios from Portfolio Wizard, using a given list of EFs and Strategies and staying in the same account won't experience the issue I am about to describe. However, if you click a saved Dynamic Portfolio from the Portfolios page while in a different account in order to "view" or "edit" it, the Output page you see can differ fairly dramatically from what you saw when you saved it.

The reason this is happening is there is one group of ECA settings per Account. So if you switch accounts or click an existing Dynamic Portfolio when you're in a different account, the various settings (Strategies, EFs, and Dashboard) won't match what was there when you ran it.

HOWEVER, when you click SAVE AS, all the historical Strategies are saved, so the historical trades in a given account should remain consistent. This issue really has to do with what you see when you click a saved Dynamic Portfolio from the Portfolios page.

The programmer is implementing a change right now, so that all data used to create a Dynamic Portfolio is saved with it (Strategies, Evaluation Functions, and Settings). When this is done, Dynamic Portfolios will be tightly defined within themselves and it won't matter which account you put them in or the account you are in when you click one to view it.
