The maximum number of portfolios appears to be 75.
You know you're at the limit when you go to save a new portfolio. From the Strategies page, normally OV saves the portfolio and redirects to the Portfolios page. When at the limit, OV doesn't save and doesn't redirect to the portfolios page. (But no message box is raised...)
Cheers

I'd like to support Keith's observations - in my case I've found that once the the sum of static + dynamic portfolios exceeds 50 then no more static portfolios can be added, although additional dynamic portfolios can be added.
Accordingly, could Nirvana please consider allowing additional static portfolios to be added after 50 (or 75) portfolios are built?

My cross-eyed count included all the OV and DC portfolios.
I don't mind deleting portfolios, but it would be nice if I could -
1) archive (as is Save to Disk) the portfolio
2) select multiple portfolios for deletion/archival at once
Ditto for strategies...

Keith I think that's a great solution ... we don't likely need very many "live" portfolios at once, if there is an easy way to export and import them without losing any info in the process. This might even help the servers run faster.

yes, please do what Keith and Jim say and tell us explicitly what the constraints are on saving portfolios and any other server memory constraint such as number of custom strategies or EFs.
