Q: Why am I seeing letters or blanks instead of checkboxes in Auto Mode or in a certain Focus List column?

A:

Something has either removed, changed, or corrupted a couple of font files on your system. With OmniTrader closed save the attached files to C:\Windows\Fonts folder. Replacing the font files will turn the a's and b's back into checkboxes.

If this does not help, try removing the 2 Nirvana Font files (nsckfont.ttf & Nsfonts.fon) first, then install the 2 files below.

***You may need to restart your computer after the files are reinstalled.

If the prior steps do not correct the problem, then go to:

C:\Windows\System32

and delete the file titled "FNTCACHE.DAT" then restart the computer. This will allow the operating system to rebuild the font cache & OmniTrader should now display the checkboxes properly.
