In addition to the matters already raised, for those of us outside the US there is a further risk we simply have to swallow - namely currency risk and commission on the exchange. If the UK market were added to OV then a further enhancement I would appreciate would be to trade the CFD symbol with IB as well as the stock direct. That saves us Brits 1/2% of the trade value on each & every purchase we make. Yes, US friends, 1/2% additional cost on each stock purchase! (The UK government calls it 'Stamp Duty).
