Brian,

I believe there are exchange rules about holding concurrent long/short positions or submitting concurrent buy/sell orders for the same symbol since doing this could be used to manipulate the market. TP will prevent this from happening within a single account. If you are trading multiple accounts then you need to be careful when trading the same symbols in both accounts.
