Steve,

I really appreciate your tracking and sharing your trading results.

Even a $1M account taking 10% positions in a $4 stock would only take a 25K share entry. (50K shares with 200% margin.) At first glance it would appear the chances of OV moving the price of a "> 1M avg shares" stock would be small.

But OV wants all shares at once, at the open. Accumulating 25K - 50K shares of a stock over the course of the day might be doable without effecting price significantly. I'm not sure about asking for it all at the open...

So if there are 10 people trading similar OV strategies, all with $1M accounts, all trying to get 50K at the open, it gets really hard to hide accumulation and distribution.

I'm not sure how that would effect long term performance in OV. It could be that the price would skyrocket at the open, then fall back on itself obviating the RTM advantage. Or it could be that the large interest would catch the market's attention and start runs on the stock that would further enhance RTM strategies.

So far, nobody else has gotten back to me. This may mean very few are trading large accounts. Or it may mean people don't want to share. Or it may mean people with large accounts aren't watching the forum. Or some combination...

I guess there is no way to know with certainty if OV will hold up over time.

OK. Back to football!

Cheers

Keith
