You don't need to use if it does match your style or have limited time to watch the market. Currently, I set up the IB TWS platform when I want to day trade my OV portfolio picks. I watch my charts and either set TWS limit buy orders or manually send market orders. I'm able to often get better OV entry prices and take my profits the same day and not experience large drawdowns. Moreover, there are OV trades that go into a drawdown for a few days and I'm still able to day trade those OV otherwise potential losing trades to milk some more profits. Yes, OV does a great job finding the daily/weekly winners. Some real time TP features would make it hands down the premier trading solution. Heck, they could jack up the unlimited strategies gold package price for new folks and we all would benefit from the future enhancements. My OV gold (unlimited strategies) purchase paid for itself last summer when I had more time to day trade using OV. It has been pure profit since. Real time OV would be a blessing and could shorting the OV downstroke purchase price timeline for others. | |
