When you click any Saved Dynamic Portfolio, you will see the definition that was saved for it, including Dashboard, Settings, and the Evaluation Function that was chosen. On the OUTPUT page, you will see 2 tables - the top one shows the saved statistics and evaluation function. Here is where the enhancement comes in... Below the one-line table with the definition is another table, that will contain the results of any NEW runs you do. So, you can click an existing Dynamic Portfolio, change things up (including adding more EFs, Strategies, etc.) and re-run it. You can conveniently compare the new results with the old ones. IF YOU LIKE WHAT YOU SEE you can click SAVE and the new definition will overwrite the old one. A few caveats - If you are in Portfolio Wizard and start changing stuff, you won't see your original definition unless you close it and click the Dynamic Portfolio again. Just like clicking a regular Portfolio, any changes you make are NOT saved unless you click SAVE or SAVE AS. DISPLAY ISSUES ALSO FIXED: The Strategies shown on the PW Output page were coming from the last run of PW, not necessarily the ones that were selected for the Portfolio you clicked. So while it was working properly under the covers (and switching properly) you couldn't see which Strategies it was using. Now, the Strategies you see are the ones that are being used, including switch points. |
