Ed mentioned this limitation (number of symbols) in the webinar as I recall.

Possible solution for bigger lists ...

Create a Custom list that starts with the too-long list you want, then ranks it by some formula, and peels off just the top 10 or 20 (or whatever number works) of symbols.
