I'm not sure where you're getting "Account Equity" & MTM. Our Current Equity value is equivalent to IB's Net Liquidation Value. So if you look at your account in TWS it will be the value at the top. There may be a slight difference in these values due to how often IB updates through the servers & possibly other factors, but it should be close. IB should be able to tell you more about their value if you need specifics.
Yes.
That'd be a question for the broker. I would guess the answer is yes.
I'm not sure where you're getting this term either, "Trading Equity". In the case of IB, they supply us with a value called "Buying Power" & that's the value that is used. IB should be able to tell you more about their value if you need specifics. In OmniVest there is a Trading Current Balance value, which is equivalent to Current Equity. And there is a Max % of Equity value in the settings. The Max % of Equity determines how much of your account's Current Equity is to be used to calculate new trades.
I see you're referring to Mark's post here. In his post it seems he's referring to "Account Equity", "Current Equity", or “Trading Current Balance", whatever you prefer to call the value. |
