I recently had 2 short positions reject that were selected using the PRS* dynamic list. This results in wasted short opportunities and throws the TP and OV out of sync with each other.

When short trading at the HRE we ideally want to be comfortable that our short trades selected will be allowed by the broker using their Easy To Borrow list.

Suggestion - Nirvana has a very close relationship with GX. Is it possible to filter short trades generated by any strategy for today's trading against GX's Easy To Borrow list?

Or will this suggestion be unnecessary if there is soon to come real time synchronisation between the TP and OV, causing the next available short to be selected, thus addressing all 3 brokerages at once?

Isnt the PRN* list intended for shorts?

I agree that OVest/TP combo needs to be improved re it's knowledge of ok and not-ok to short lists, sep for each broker.

But, with upcoming intelligent order processing, hopefully that will be overcome via the "if at first you don't succeed, try try again method.

I think any of the lists can be used with short or long, its the underlying system that determines whether trades taken will be short or long or both.

Because I had the issue where the stock was NOT ON the OK to short stocks, I'm just raising this post for Nirvana to check that IOP will cater for shorts using the "if at first you don't succeed, try try again" method.
