I have an account (or two) that have dynamic portfolios enabled. I am also running PW tests.

While the PW queue is processing, will my account statistics be updated? Will all my accounts be updated in parallel, or does it happen serially?

Just wondering...

Keith

I've been waiting about 12 hours for one OV account to complete "working". The account has one DP selected. The DP rebalances on the first, at which time it selects the best 5 strategies from a pool of 20 using a single EF. (So a relatively light workload.)

My PW run is "Done". I've deleted all other DPs from other Accounts. I've toggled between Accounts and Portfolios pages. I logged out and back in.

What more can I do?

Keith

Today when I started a PW session under IE, a whole new browser window was spawned. PW had its own Log Out button. I could Alt-Tab between the two IE instances.

I don't remember things working this way before. As I recall PW ran in the same IE page as OV, it just swapped between web pages.

I still can't get my OV Account to finish working...

What happens (is suppose to happen...) if I Log Out of the PW window? Will my OV session remain logged in? Do I truly have two separate instances of OV running? Can I launch multiple PW instances?

A lot to check out later tonight...

Keith

So today, using Firefox or IE, if I go to the Accounts page, select an account that has a DP enabled, scroll down to the Portfolios section, then click the hyperlink for the DP, a second window is opened showing PW for the DP I hyperlinked.

The new window has an "Explore OmniPortfolios" menu, and a Tools menu, and Reports menu, but no MyOmnivest menu.

If I click on the Log Out button of the new window, I'm logged out of OV on both browser windows.

If, while the second window is open, I go back to the Accounts page in the first window, select a different account with a different DP enabled, scroll down to the Portfolios section, and click the byperlink, I don't get a third window. Rather the PW instance in the second window is updated to shows the data for the last DP I hyperlinked to.

If I go to PW from the Tools menu of the first window (the Accounts page), PW opens in the same window (browser instance) and replaces the Accounts page.

I have no idea what provisions for code reentrancy exist. IE - I don't know what it is safe to do in each of the two windows while the other window is open. Try at your own risk.

Cheers

Keith
