Now that we have the "Enable/Flag" options for Open, Opening, and Closing Positions, Can we add a "Select All" box for those of us that wish to let OV make the decisions. Given that I have a 35.32% 9 month return (47.1% annualized), I'd like the option to let it run, see the results and see if I would be comfortable letting OV auto-run when I can't get to a computer or the internet when I'm traveling.

I agree completely. Shortcuts are great. Also a companion "unselect all" button would be nice.

Yet another possibility would be to offer a percent input that applied to all selected inputs - so that for instance someone could say to take 50% of the normal position size for all selected trades. Probably a range of 10%-100% should be the valid range.

This would be in addition to the select all and unselect all buttons

Jim, Thanks for looking at this. While your suggestions make sense, they take away from the "AutoTrade" function that I'm looking for. Maybe the best solution, in my case would be to have the selection be of those stocks you DON'T want to trade and the default unchecked boxes be the actively traded. Your suggestion percentages, can be implemented by adding another column with the percentage entered next to the unchecked box. That would work well for someone that is actively trading their own portfolio. Thanks Cal

Remember, the "check box" feature on the Account page is a manual aid to placing trades with a broker manually. The Trade Processor operates completely independently of this feature. Eventually they will probably merge in some way but right now they are different features.

Thanks Ed, I was under the impression that when the check boxes appeared that there wouldn't be any trade taken unless the box was checked. You've cleared that up. I still think that there should be a check/clear all box. As to whether the checked box meant take the trade or don't take the trade, I will leave up to the majority and/or the programers. Cal
