I notice that Dynamic Omni Portfolios are now available. Well done Nirvana!

Some months ago there was advice that dynamic portfolios developed with one set of settings could not be used in another account with different settings.

If I use a dynamic Omni Portfolio doesn't this contravene the earlier advice. Has something changed so that we can now run dynamic portfolios across different Accounts using different settings?

I know this is a specialty question but it affects all people who trade Dynamic Portfolios.

It affects not just Dynamic Omni Portfolios but also Dynamic Portfolios created by any user in one account and traded in another account with different settings.

Perhaps some of those involved in the creation and development of Dynamic Portfolios (Mark, Steve, Nirvana) could reply?

Hi John... I agree, it's an important question.

I haven't tried saving a Dynamic Omni Portfolio (just learned from you it's possible), and I don't know of any changes to the previous precautions about using Dynamic Portfolios made with one set of Account Settings with different Account Settings.

I've been busy with family matters, and will be for another couple of weeks...

Maybe someone else can chime in?

Mark

We didn't get to have our meeting last week, so none of us on that team have heard about it yet either. But, I can't find anything on the OmniPortfolio page that says Dynamic however. Where are you seeing it?

Might you mean dynamic portfolios created by Portfolio Builder tool in OV Pro rather than the OmniPortfolio webpage?

The dynamic Omni portfolio is called "computer hardware"

"This DYNAMIC Portfolio swaps in and out of Strategies that trade the volatility of the computer hardware market.
How This Portfolio was Built:
We used a series of "Reversal" Strategies to build this Portfolio, including Trend Line Break, Reversion to Mean and Wave Trader. The use of a DYNAMIC approach means that those Strategies that are working the best are used at any point in time."
