Thanks for answering. By crossover I meant first divegence takes place and than for buy divergence macd crosses its signal line to the upside and vice versa for shorts. As seen in screenshot #2 posted above, there is a big divergence in macd and price and than macd croses its signal line to the downside and this crossover is the signal to go short on 12/19/05. I am not looking for zero line crossovers. I know this is fairly basic strategy but I found sometime simplicity is the best setup. For further clarification I am posting a chart of nvda which shows divergence in price and than on 7/19/06 macd crosses its signal line to the upside and gives a buy signal.

I would appreciate if you could write this strategy. I am learning OT 2006, its incredible.
