The number 4 in the trade plan refers to the Step not the number of bars. If you click on the N bar stop in this trade plan you will see in the Stop Parameters that the period is set to 1. After some discustion with developers I did find out that this stop is necessary because of what the trade plan is trying to do. If the fixed profit stop is hit then the intention is to loosen up the original tight trailing profit stop to let the trade run longer. To change the parameters of the original trailing profit and fixed loss stops it is necessary to put in this N bar exit. If you are worried about the trade being unprotected during the N bar stop of 1 period then you can add a fixed loss stop to step 3. Regards Ryan Nirvana Support |
