I've not had a chance to review these trades, but your summation sounds very sensible and plausible. Do you think further investigation is called for (ie were the indications somewhat unclear), or do you think that's enuf to go on? I'll be interested to hear what Stan thinks about this. If we proceed using the rev path, then I think the next (simple) step would be to check whether the prev-identical Confirm-Block variant still is a match, using the Rev in it's SB & CB.
