trn Veteran   Posts: 185 Joined: 2/1/2011  User Profile | I am using esignal data and use 90 mins in OT..i am facing problems of inconstistent data between two different computers i am using. The intraday data i have observed varies between the two computers on certain bars in intraday charts with regards to the bar's Open/High/Low/Close with the same symbols. While most of the data is consistent it is this minor inconsistency of some bars which affect the signals.I sometimes trade using computer no 1 and sometimes computer no.2.I have included screen shots as examples.If you could observe in example 1 and example 1a the closing rate of the bar circled in black is not the same even though it is the same time frame(90 mins) and the same symbol just on two different computers.In example 2 and example 2b again the bar circled in black has a different closing rate for the same symbol between the two computers.What would cause the inconsistent data in OT and how can i resolve it to be the same in each computer?I contacted esignal and they said it is not a problem for data from their side as the data is consistent and same on all bars in the esignal software on two different computers.(i have checked it as well).
