When companies split their stock, are bought out, merge, or change stock symbols, this information is not accurately reflected in the OmniData stock pricings. This is easily identified by noticing when a historic price has dipped below zero. [cases where the historical pricing had not dipped below zero are much harder to identify the errors.] A simulation review/analysis is only as good as the data used for it. IQFeed does a much better job of checking their historical stock pricings (and correcting them when needed); however, their service is also much more expensive. Check out the following symbols as an example of what I am referring to....AAPL, ABV, ALTR, AMAT, AMT, BBEP, BHP, C, CAT...and many, many, more. Thank you Nirvana Support for any help you can provide in ensuring that the OmniData stock prices we are paying for are historically accurate. | |
