Steve, you are exactly right...I should have mentioned the other processes that may be running in windows that could limit the performance of OT. Good shot. Also, using the WEI alternative app on Win8 & later - thank you!!! After I posted this last night (on my ancient Win7 box) I realized that I probably left a few things out. Good catch overall. I've been asked many times on the phone by our clients, "what computer should I get to run OmniTrader?" My usual response has been to get the fastest clock speed processor that they are willing to purchase and a SSD. Those have consistently proven to be the deciding factors for an acceptable performance experience with OT. With the additional features we continue to add into the software, I think we need to redefine what our system requirements really are. In particular the recommended requirements.
