It is a decentralized exchange which offers bitcoin, etherium, dash, steem, ETC. They also have USD, USDt, CNY, RUBLE, Gold & Silver. Fees are quoted in BTS which is the native coin and are pretty reasonable( .05789 BTS which is approximately 2 cents). Placing orders is very cumbersome but the major problem with this site at the moment is liquidity. Even orders placed at the market are not always filled immediately. Their charting package is not up to OT's standards either but they are 100% hassle free. NOTE: I have less than $100 invested with bitshares with no plans to invest more until I am certain I know where all of the pitfalls are.
