I've seen this information in relation to forex markets i.e. best days to trade are generally Tue-Thu but I've never seen a comparable study for equity markets.

Has anyone here done a study on the most profitable days of the week to trade, analogous to "Sell in May and Go Away"?

Does it have any merit?
