It's a setting that isn't very useful nowadays since most use mechanical strategies. We probably should at least rename it. David's issue is that analysis doesn't run for some symbols when using My Symbols & scans at the same time - that's reproduced & reported. The analysis issue you posted about is not one I've seen. Can you try a new profile, add a few symbols to it from your user data folder, then run the ToDo List? If it doesn't work let me know.
