Moreso because they offer a lot of pre-programmed interfaces to their traderworkstation and there are a lot of TA tools out there having an IB trading interface integrated. As far as I know, IB was working on the backfill issue, but that means nothing. There are always more important issues to consider for them. But that's OK for me. I wouldn't take them as realtime datafeed for TA. There are better providers out there. One reasonably priced RT data provider I found reliable over the years is Stockwatch.com from Canada. They also provide up to 5 days backfill in any time frame. regards Stefan http://www.stockwatch.com/swnet/utilit/utilit_products.aspx |
