OT2018 Pre Release 2A has been posted.
Enhancements:
- Improved Portfolio Simulation methods: Reversal & Trend Reversal.
- Added Portfolio Simulation method: Trending.
- Removed the Optimized Value column in Portfolio Simulation methods as this value is already displayed at the bottom right of Portfolio Simulation.
- Changed the Portfolio Simulation column labels to Min, Max, Increment, & Default.
- Added optimization columns (Optimize, Min, Max, Increment) for ATS Allocation settings. These column values now match the values in the Portfolio Simulation grid, so changing a parameter in one location now displays the change in the other location.
- The ATS column now attempts to automatically populate after it is been added to the Focus List.
- The Run Portfolio Simulation option in the ToDo List now also attempts to automatically populate the ATS column if it exists in the Focus List.
- Run Portfolio Simulation in the ToDo List is now automatically checked if the default Portfolio Simulation method includes a ranker.
- Long & Short ranking formulas are now disabled if a Ranker does not exist in the Trade Ranking tab under ATS Settings.
- Added a "Use In Trade Signals" option that may be selected in any Portfolio Simulation method under the Allocation tab of the ATS Settings. When disabled, the maximum number of trades are taken on a per bar basis. For example, if Max Longs is 1 for the daily timeframe, no more than one long trade can be taken per day, regardless of how many trades are currently in position. With the option enabled, in trade positions are taken into account. Using the same example, no more than one long trade can be taken per day, but also a trade will not be taken until the prior trade has closed.
- Position based stops in option trade plans no longer use modeling data to calculate stop levels on the right edge. As a result their associated chevrons can no longer be adjusted.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed a startup error sometimes occurring with imported brokerage files.
- Fixed an error sometimes occurring when connecting to Interactive Brokers.
- Corrected an error when using the Save As function to create new Portfolio Simulation methods.
- Fixed an issue with ATS where the ranking was calculating on the entry bar instead of the signal bar.
- Fixed a case where saving new Portfolio Simulation methods would cause an error.
- Resolved an issue where new ATS methods could not enabled the first time after creating them.
- Fixed a case where a ranking method would sometimes cause a compile error.
- Fixed a display issue where the mouse wheel setting wasn't showing as selected under Tools/Options/Chart Options.
- Restored the functionality of the Multi Timeframe Zooming mouse wheel setting under Tools/Options/Chart Options.
