When I try to export Performance Summary Report to Microsoft Excel (*.xls) Format OT crashes with the following Run-time Error:

However exporting to other formats including Excel Data-only (*.xls & *.xlsx) formats works fine.
I have experienced this problem on both of two systems where I have installed OT with the following configuration:
1. Windows 7 (32-bit) with OT2017 (PR-2J)
2. Windows 10 (64-bit) with OT2017 (PR-2M)

Which format doesn't work for you? You said *.xls doesn't work, but also said it works.

Barry,
The highlighted format in the following image causes the OT to crash. Exporting to all other formats works well.

Barry,
OT crashing is a serious issue. At least this should have been fixed by now.

Any ETA when this is likely to be fixed?

FWIW...
I've never had a problem when exporting to the;
Microsoft Excel Workbook Data-Only (.xlsx)
If you want Excel (97-2003) years, have you tried the;
Microsoft Excel (97-2003) Data-Only (*.xls)
Maybe that will work...???

Mark... Microsoft Excel Workbook Data-Only (.xlsx) and Microsoft Excel (97-2003) Data-Only (*.xls) both work fine, the problem is with Microsoft Excel (97-2003)(*.xls) format. Please try this format (Microsoft Excel (97-2003)(*.xls)) while exporting and see what happens.

Hmmmm
I don't mean any disrespect at all... just wondering why you'd be concerned about exporting to a version of excel that's 15 years out of date?
If the export doesn't work, are you just letting Nirvana know that they should remove it from the options?

If they can not fix it then better they should remove this option so that OT doesn't crash and potentially corrupt the Profile and other files thereby causing all the hard work and time down the drain.
Regarding the version of Excel rather file format being 15 years old, it is still very widely used format and in any case OT is not known for being at the cutting edge of technology.
