After finishing the to-do-list, some stocks cannot be updated such as $SPX and $VIX Can any one help? I enclose a log file for your reference. Thanks

The CBOE exchange recently increased their price for indices by 1,000%, making it cost prohibitive for us to continue offering them, at least in EOD.

We have added the required code to seamlessly translate each of these into very similar symbols. For example, $SPX has been scaled and translated to SPY, so the quotes are virtually identical.

If you install the attached file into your ...\Nirvana\OT20##\Dlls folder replacing the old file, then restart OT, you should gain access to the translated indexes. You may need to also right-click the file, select Properties, & click Unblock, for it to work.

Current translations:
$SPX -> SPY
$VIX -> VIXFIX of SPY
$OEX -> OEF
$RUI -> IWB
$NDX -> QQQ
$COMP -> ONEQ
$RUT -> IWM
$RUA -> IWV
