Click here for a link to an OLang indicator that plots volume bars in color and applies a moving average to them using Simple Exponential or Weighted averaging. It also includes the option (can be turned off) to "clip" extreme spikes to an input multiple of the volume MA, to make the whole thing more visually understandable. You need OTPro to implement it. It's not possible to manually plot a MA on the volume pane that uses the same scale as the volume pane. One of the longstanding OT requests has been to provide more intelligence for "child" indicator scaling so that multiple indicators on the same pane will use the same scale (or two diff scales but one on left and other on right).
