I am feeling really stupid.
I can't figure out how to draw an Andrew's Pitchfork or a Parallel Line in OT2022.
Most of the drawing tools are self explanatory. Click the left mouse button and dtrag, then release the left mouse button.
That does not seem to be the case for Andrews Pitchforks and Parallel Lines.
I draw these all the time in TradingView. It's not rocket science. (But I have done that in the past, and it was easier than mastering OT and VT...)
But I can't seem to get one pitchfork or parallel line drawn in OT02022 to save my soul.
And the couple of times I have gotten a Pitchfork to draw, I have no idea how I did it.
I have checked the User Manual. There is nothing provided on how to use the drawing tools.
All I need is a simple "click and drag, then click" or " click three times" or whatever the correct user interaction is. Am I being unreasonable expecting the User Manual to describe how to use the drawing tools?
I would appreciate anyones input on how these drawing tools work?
Thanks
keith

You first need to have the double Drawing2 icon open. If you hover over it it says "Draw Advanced Line Studies".
If you don't have it go to: View / Tool Bars / look for Drawing2 / click the box, move the icon to where you want it.
Once you have the icon you click on the pitchfork symbol on the icon.
Choose Andrews Pitchfork
Left click to place the start of the pitchfork on the chart where you want it to start. You can then right click on the icon and move the three little boxes to move the legs of the pitchfork where you want. Left click off the pitchfork to lock it in place.
For Paralell Lines - Click on what appears to be paralell lines on the second part of the Draw Advanced Line Studies icon. A dropdown opens - chose Paralell Lines. Place it where you want to start and stretch it to the end point. Looks like it automatically adjusts. Can't adjust it like the pitchfork.

Hey! Thanks!
On the parallel line tool, once I get the draw cursor, left click, drag, and release to anchor the trend line. Then left click on the parallel line and drag up and down to change the distance between the two parallel lines.
The pitchfork is similar. Left click, drag, and release to set the initial angle and display the 4 adjusting handles. Then left click on the handles and drag them to change the angle and width of the pitchfork.
I am having more success clicking on the lines and handles if I have the crosshair tool working when selecting the drawing components. My cursor and the crosshair are slightly different locations, and this drawing stuff is unforgiving.
(So between dark blue drawings on a black chart, and a handful of pixels difference in where I am pointing and where OT thought I was pointing, I understand why I was having difficulties...)
It would be nice to have a magnet setting for picking lines and handles when in drawing mode. (Like if I am within X pixels of a line or handle, call it close enough...)
One issue I am seeing is that the Ellipse drawing tool doesn't honor the color setting for the actual ellipse line. Only the line connecting the start and end points is drawn in the color I specify. This is a bug IMO.
Thanks again for your help.
