Trying to understand how Xsuite is working. Had daily signals on mkt close which where still there in morning before market open. I placed the orders as MOO using the trade chevron about an hour before market open. Around 9:15 I noticed that the signals had changed. Two of the symbols for which MOO had been placed no longer had any signal. One original signal remained and there was a new signal.
I need to understand so that I can trade with confidence but having this unexpected behaviour has me scratching my head.
I test on daily only and don't understand how a daily signal changes when the market is closed. Is using Xsuite in an RT profile a problem?

Nothing should be changing from an hour before market open to 15min before market open, so that seems strange. Under your ToDo List Test Settings tab, do you have the "Run Analysis on Forming Bars" option enabled?

Haven't collected a good set of details. At this point just sort of seeing a few things that don't seem right with signals and trade plan orders. Thad cleared up a few things yesterday, we think. The "test during session" setting was suspicious and have now unchecked it.
I have switched back to EOD for Xsuite. In the RT profile "run analysis on forming bars" is not checked. For now I will stay with EOD.
(Hope you are feeling better!)

You should enable the "Test During Session" back. That option will keep analysis from updating open orders in the portfolio when disabled. When enabled (default setting & what most users would use), analysis will allow orders to process normally.
Basically it should always be enabled. The only reason it's there is Jeff & Ed had needed it to be disabled for certain testing at one point years ago.
