Hi Folks

When I try to update the COT Database using COT 2022 Utility, I get a lot of errors:
File deacot20xx.zip not Found!

This occurs for all years from 2014 to 2022, see attachment #6.1 COT Database 2014 Not Found

After acknowledging all missing files, it then reports another error:
Value cannot be null

See attachment #6.2 Value cannot be null

After that it's off with the fairies never to be seen again. See attachment #6.3 Off with the fairies

The same occurs within OT22 when I try to "Update COT data" from the To Do List

I see this has been reported previously but there was no resolution, please let me know what the fix is?

There currently is no fix. I get the same thing & have reported it. I'll report it again. This shouldn't cause issues using futures though, only the COT Index & COT Net Longs indicators.

Was this bug fixed in OT 2023? Will it ever be?
I get the impression that NS is just focused on selling plugins, not on improving or maintaining the base software anymore.

If that were true, we wouldn't have any bug fixes or enhancements, yet we are still fixing things & improving both OT & VT. This bug has not been addressed yet in OT2023. If there is anyone else who needs this fixed, perhaps they will also post here.

Not all futures have COT updates available. Which futures are you interested in?
