Having yet another problems in OT/VT. It should be said, of all the years I have used OmniData before I canceled it last year, I rarely had a problem with OmniData. Can't tell if its an OT problem, Computer problem or OMniData Problem. As it seems to be working fine on my other computers.
OmniData seems that it doesn't want to update. I get some partial symbols, charts not up to date, or up to august 4th or there abouts. Some charts are blank.
I am in a stocks profile, yet each time I click on a new symbol, the status bar in the lower left, shows its updating "USD/JPY TDFX" or "EURUSD..." etc.. which are Forex symbols in another profile, using a different feed. its some how confusing the two profiles. leaving it unusable. And, for what its worth, since I signed up using OmniData again about a month ago it really hasn't worked.. Sometimes I was able to download and update via the ToDoList, but other times like now it just remains frozen.
Attached some images and logs hoping that would help.

You have OmniData EOD, so make sure when you're attempting to use it you're not in a realtime profile of OT. And if in VT, make sure your Data Settings show OmniData / Batch Download.
If they are & you're still having trouble getting data, try reinstalling OmniData. Uninstall it from your Programs list in the Control Panel, then reinstall it from here.
If it's attempting to get data for your forex symbols, they are being referenced somewhere, likely in a strategy, chart template, alert, or open position.

If it is referenced in some strategy, template, etc.. How do I fix that???
Do I need to go thru EVERY single strategy, chart template, every OmniLanguage code to see if anything has been written into it for its attempt to get Forex Data?? Ironic now though as it seems to be working better.. Not great, but butter. I will run it again in a lil bit to confirm.. **(Still would like to get rid of that calling of the forex symbols tho..).. I'll try other profiles to see what happens.. and delete some, see if that works too.
Also, as you pointed out Barry.. Even tho I knew I was using OmniData EOD, ALL my profiles in VisualTrader were coming up with TimeFrames 5min, 15min, Daily.. Even tho some of these profiles I was never in before.. But I checked all of them.. So it seems tho, once I deleted the 5min and 15min things improved. Just don't know how it got in there in the first place? Perhaps from my use of OmniData RT??

VT's usual default timeframes are 5, 15, & Daily. A typical EOD user would delete the 5 & 15 if they aren't being used.

No, just the ones you're currently using whenever you see the issue. But check open alerts & open positions first - they're easy to check.
